Bowtie Bash-By Me

The last few weeks I've been coming up with some different party package ideas. I'm hoping to open a etsy shop soon with all the fun stuff I've been creating thanks to a little program called Photoshop. So here's a sneak peak of my newest party pack: Bowtie Bash.

Carnival Inspiration Board

I am a fan of the red & turquoise complimentary color combination. Sir Isaac Newton sure knew what he was doing when he put those two colors across from each other on the color wheel. (I was a history major-can you tell?). Something about these colors together illustrates innocent FUN, innocent fun like the carnivals of my childhood. So here it is the Red and Turquoise Carnival Inspiration Board.

No. 1: Tutu for Birthday Girl from 2under2Mom
No. 2: Invites & Printables from Dimple Prints
No. 3: Jones Soda for Bottle Ring Toss
No. 4: Angies Kettle Corn-if you think you can make it as good as Angies, go for it then send  me the recipe :)
No. 5: Pinwheels from The Sweet Factory Etsy
No. 6: Gourmet Cotton Candy from Tasty Clouds
No. 7: Raffle Tickets It wouldnt be a Carnival without a raffle!
No. 8: Duck Pond Game-Instructions HERE
No. 9: Rings for Bottle Game

Oh and if you have a few hundred dollars to spare-I found this darling little cupcake ferris wheel.

Simply Sweet Dessert Table

Let's face it. I'm a Mother of an almost two-year old boy which means I am constantly deprived of the color pink and the certain sweetness that comes from a little girl. In honor of a dear friend who is having a baby girl, I created this Simply Sweet Dessert Table for the International Sweet Table Competition. After finding this darling vintage table with distressed pink paint, I decided to take a minimalist approach, keeping things simple & sweet. I wanted to create a table that could be duplicated on a dime and yet portray the sweetness of a little girl.

I sprinkled some old-fashioned donut holes with fairy dust (powdered sugar) along with a homemade pink lemonade-bundt cake.  Bundt cakes are great alternatives to expensive multi-tiered cakes.
Lemon cupcakes are topped with a pink buttercream frosting and a dollop of whipped cream. The darling individual stands are by The Papered Nest & I am so thrilled to add them to my other fun party trinkets. The last sweet dessert is a group of vanilla cream canolli. I couldn't resist throwing in a little Sicilian flare, a tribute to my Grandma.

Treat everyday like it's your birthday,

Feature: Safari Party

Daneve from Ah-Tissue created this darling Up-cycled Safari Party for her 3 year old son. She was able to find a ton of great stuff lying around her house and up-cycled/up-styled it for the party. I really cling to people & parties that are resourceful & eco-friendly. Check out this wildly ( I couldn't help myself) fun party!

Daneve's signature Pom Poms. This girl knows a thing or two about tissue paper.

In love yet? These are only a few highlights. Check out the rest at Daneve site.
